Stories from the North is a cross-cultural performance of oral storytelling from North Carolina, Northern Ireland, Oulu, and Finland combined with Finnish folk music and sean nós (old style) Irish Gaelic songs. This storytelling and music experience represents the artistic backgrounds of musicians / storytellers Osmo Hakosalo, Brent Ó Caiside and friends. Stories from the North is inspired by their passion to revisit the oral storytelling traditions of the North combined with traditional music and songs.
