Beginner Traditional Irish Dance Course

Nelli Sinisalo

Come and explore the world of Irish dance!

In this course, you’ll get to know the basic steps of Irish dance as well as céilí dancing (group dancing) in a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere.

No prior dance experience is needed – just curiosity to give Irish dance a try. During the class, we’ll dance together and enjoy the energetic spirit of Irish music.

What to bring: comfortable clothing suitable for dancing, a water bottle, and footwear such as jazz shoes (though dancing in socks works perfectly well too).

The course is suitable for all adults and young people interested in the style.

Minimum age: 12 years. Taught in English and Finnish.

Nelli Sinisalo is an experienced Irish dance teacher who has been sharing the joy of dance for many years. Her teaching combines a positive and inspiring atmosphere with clear and encouraging guidance, helping students to grow and enjoy dancing.

Nelli lived in Dublin, Ireland, from 2007 to 2009, where she also participated in her first competitions. This experience deepened her understanding of Irish dance and its cultural significance.

For Nelli, it’s important to create an environment in her classes where everyone can learn and succeed at their own pace. Irish dance is not only a technically demanding discipline, but also a wonderful way to express oneself.

“I want to share this passion with all my students!” – Nelli
