The band’s music is grounded in traditional folk, while drawing strong influences especially from Irish and North American traditions. Their repertoire consists of uniquely arranged traditional tunes as well as original compositions.
The Yläsiirtola Ramblers are known for its energetic and warm-hearted style, combining the joy of playing with a strong sense of storytelling and rhythmic drive. Over the years, the group has performed in various line-ups. At this festival, the ensemble features instruments such as fiddle, guitar, mandolin, octave mandolin, accordion, tin whistles, Irish flute, bodhrán and double bass.
Yläsiirtola Ramblers will open the evening concert at 21:30, followed by The Shire around 22:15.

Stick around and join us after the concert downstairs in Lasaretti Restaurant for a live traditional Irish music session “after party” till 02:00. Live music, fish n’ chips and loads of craic amongst friends.
