Hailing from Italy, The Shire is an Irish traditional music band that brings the energy, warmth and spirit of Ireland’s living musical tradition to the stage.
With heartfelt songs, reels, jigs and lively session tunes, the band delivers a spontaneous and engaging performance shaped by the atmosphere of the moment, rooted in authenticity and musicianship, and full of fun.
Their sound blends vocals, guitar, fiddle, flute, tin whistle and accordion, moving naturally between intimate melodies and driving dance rhythms.
Yläsiirtola Ramblers will open the evening concert at 21:30, followed by The Shire around 22:15.
After Party
Stick around and join us after the concert downstairs in Lasaretti Restaurant for a live traditional Irish music session “after party” til 02:00. Live music, fish n’ chips and loads of craic amongst friends.
