Carlos, Sweeney and McCartin are a no nonsense trio of fiddle, flute and guitar.
Their music is uncompromising in its direct reflection of traditional Irish music as played in sessions in the north west of Ireland today. Heavily influenced by the likes of Matt Molloy, Cathal Hayden, Planxty, The Bothy Band, Dervish and Lúnasa, they are energetic and rambunctious, unbridled and unapologetic.
Get ready to let loose, dance and have a fun evening amongst friends.
InSpiral Dance Company will open the concert at 20:30, followed by The Soap Pig performing at 21:00 and Carlos, Sweeney, McCartin at 22:00.
After the concert, stick around and join us in Lasaretti Restaurant for a live traditional Irish music session “after party” till 02:00.
